Jessica Knoepfler:
Ever since ninth grade, when I was able to persuade my parents to buy and bring home our first dog, Abby, I knew I wanted a career working with dogs. During high school I volunteered at a local vet clinic and worked in a boarding kennel. After graduation I received grooming training while working for two big box pet corporations in the Twin Cities. However I was not happy with those environments. So I decided to enroll at Rio Gran grooming school in Hastings. Shortly after completing my training at Rio Gran I was hired by Brenda, the owner of Just Paws. Now six years later I am a co-owner of Just Paws with my parents.
